Winter wedding at Apton Hall

We had the absolute pleasure to design and create the floral creations for Liz and Robb who got married at Apton Hall, February 2021.

When we first met with the couple, it was clear that they had a vision and lots of ideas for their wedding. A quirky and cool style with accents of William Morris print to be subtly used throughout the wedding. We were excited to be on board and help them bring their vision to life.

Apton Hall is (in our opinion) one of the best wedding venues in Essex. The venue and surrounding area is picturesque and immaculately kept both inside and out. The decor and style is so sleek and elegant, we love dressing the spaces there and are always excited when we get Clients who have chosen this venue.

Liz and Robb had a onsite meeting with us (which we always suggest) as part of the pre-planning. We walked through the different spaces and got an idea from them both as to what were the most important elements and areas to dress throughout. From this, we then provided a full proposal which includes colour palette, suggested flower selection, visuals for each floral element and a fully itemised costing.

Ok, so on to the interesting part! On a 'very' windy day in February, Storm Franklin was causing havoc across the South East! We set to work prepping everything at the venue. It's always a relief when we know we're working at a venue like Apton Hall. The staff are very helpful and organised, the venue is always immaculate prior to setup and nothing is too much trouble. As a supplier, this really means so much with pre-planning and making sure we can carry out our work most effectively.

The wedding was beautiful, the cosy indoor spaces meant the weather was of no significance to the day, the colour palette was divine (I'll let you be the judge of that with the below pictures). All thanks to firstly, the very wonderful Bride and Groom; without their organisation, vision and trust in our floral work, it wouldn't of been possible.
