Summer wedding at Great Lodge

We had the pleasure to work with Peri and Iain for their summer wedding at Great Lodge, in Bardfield, Essex. The venue there is absolutely beautiful, an Anne of Cleves barn situated on a wonderful rural vineyard estate. One of the few Essex wedding venues that only allows one wedding on every weekend.

We started working with Peri a year before her wedding, as someone who is fully involved in the wedding industry, she had a very clear vision of what she wanted for her own wedding. After a few discussions, we were able to provide a full proposal which included an inspirational moodboard with colour palette and suggested seasonal flowers. From this, we finalised the full details and after a site visit (which we always recommend to all our clients), everything was confirmed and organised.

We were very lucky with the weather on the day of the wedding. A few spots of rain in the morning and the skies cleared and the sun came shining through. Peri and Iain got married on the lawn under the green oak wedding pavilion. Followed by drinks outside and then into the Grade I listed barn for the wedding breakfast and evening reception.
